Mike Honeycutt, a new track owner in North Carolina, has been appointed and confirmed by the ROAR Executive Committee as the new Region 3 Director. As an important and active region in the ROAR family, Honeycutt promises to bring some new enthusiasm and a renewed interest in ROAR regional racing to the area. “It’s very nice to have someone with Mike’s level of motivation step forward to take on the responsibilities of Regional Director. His enthusiasm should bring a new level of excitement to the region, catering to new and existing racers that are the primary reason for ROAR’s existence. ” said ROAR President, Steve Pond. He added, “We all welcome Mike to the ROAR family and are looking forward to his contributions to this active and vital region.”
Honeycutt is the owner and operator of JD’s Xtreme R/C, which is a new track that includes a 1/10 and 1/8 off-road track, and an adjacent, dedicated 1/10 and 1/8 dirt oval track – a category that is very popular in the region.
