Rob King appointed new Electric Section Chairman

Rob King, current Electric committee member and former President of the USVTA (Vintage Trans Am series) has been appointed the new Electric Section Chairman. King's RC experience dates back to 1988, when he began racing off-road and dirt oval electric cars. After a hiatus for College, King returned to run the popular 1/10 Touring Car, and later 1/12-scale on-road cars. King has served as the Region 5 Director for ROAR, and has been a part of the electric committee since 2005. His wide range of knowledge regarding various electric racing classes makes him an authority on issues related to the subject. ROAR welcomes yet another member with multiple decades of experience, which should enhance the already deep level of experience in most of the ExCom members.
