Executive committee minutes
January 11, 2023
We had all executive committee members present.
-First thing on the agenda was making sure everyone knew Tim Caporal has taken over RMT.
-We have agreed, with some dissention, bodies that had previously failed will be added to the ROAR list for 2023 only, to be in line with other organizations around the world.
-Wing chord length will now be 45mm, which essentially means, if your wing will pass through the 40mm x 20mm box it will be legal.
-The inspection area of the roof on touring car bodies must be clear of stickers or any other obstacles to measure body height. Sponsor stickers may be placed on the roof where measurements are not taking place.
-Brent Klingforth will be taking over ESC testing for ROAR going forward. The new submittal form will be posted shortly.
-The committee approved adding previously non voting members Eric Anderson Electric Chair and Joaquin Desoto Fuel Chair to voting members. Amendments to the bylaws showing such with be forthcoming.
-Nationals Updates-Coral Springs R/C Car Club will be hosting on road paved nationals in late May. We are still trying to lock down a specific date. We are working on a fuel on road Nationals track.
