2013 Electric offroad worlds team update
Tuesday, May 21st, 20132014 IFMAR electric onroad worlds
Monday, May 20th, 2013ROAR would like to first Thank IFMAR for allowing us to make a second go at hosting the 2014 Electric On Road World Championships. In doing so they have made it possible for ROAR to keep this event in the ROAR Bloc for 2014. We would also like to Thank all of the racers and track operators for their support in bringing this event back. We had but a short window in which to get potential bids in and it was a very tuff choice for the Ex comm as all the Facilities where equally capable in holding this prestigious event however we could only pick one. With that being said we would like to congratulate Full Throttle Raceway in beautiful Kissimmee Florida as the host track for the 2014 Electric On Road Worlds. Stay tuned for more updates on this event.
ROAR Fuel onroad weights update
Saturday, May 11th, 2013The ROAR Ex comm has voted to change the minimum weight rules for the classes below. By doing this we are now inline with IFMAR rules. This change is effective immediately.

1/10 Scale On Road Fuel- new weight=1650 grams (old is 1725 grams)
Both weights are empty of all fuel and including transponder (as rule currently
states-has not changed).
**2014 IFMAR Electric On-Road World Championship Update**
Friday, May 10th, 2013Having solicited requests for facilities interested in hosting the IFMAR Electric On-Road World Championship, ROAR hadn’t received interest from any facilities sufficiently equipped to host an event of this stature. As a result, ROAR had to reluctantly decline hosting this event in the ROAR bloc. Since making the announcement, however, ROAR has received a number of requests from concerned racers and a few facilities now willing to host this event. After discussion with the IFMAR President, ROAR has thankfully been given a short period of time to consider new facilities who are now interested in hosting this event, which will hopefully keep it in the ROAR bloc.
As a result, ROAR will solicit bids from new facilities until midnight EST Friday, May 17th, after which a quick decision will made and preparation will begin for the running of the 2014 IFMAR Electric On-Road World Championship.
ROAR would like to thank IFMAR first and foremost, for their patience and understanding in this matter, and the number of racers and facilities that have recently stepped forward to express their concern and enthusiasm regarding the importance of hosting this event in the ROAR bloc.
Anyone interested in hosting the event should contact the ROAR President, Steve Mruk, via email at president@roarracing.com immediately.

IFMAR 2014 Electric On Road World Championship
Thursday, April 11th, 2013The IFMAR 2014 Electric On Road World Championship was in rotation to be hosted by the ROAR bloc, if accepted. The ROAR Executive Committee investigated various potential sites to hold this event, but was not successful in finding a suitable host location that would meet the stringent IFMAR expectations. The Executive Committee recently voted to decline this race and let the next bloc in line take this event.
